Sundays

Families with babies and children are very welcome at our Church! We love to involve our children and young people in the service so every Sunday there is a service suitable for children..

F.I.G. Family 2017

We are thrilled this year to be joining a new initiative called ‘Family at Church’, written by Rev’d Carl Melville, vicar of Claydon, Barham, Henley and Great Blakenham

Family at Church is a series of themed services throughout the year, and includes lots of fun activities, craft, songs, prayers and worship – it’s a lot like F.I.G. Family, and we see it as a natural progression in the development of our family services. F.I.G. Family will still run twice a month and will follow a similar format, but it will now be called ‘F.I.G. Family at Church’ – see what we did there?!

We are also reintroducing our ‘points win prizes’ system for children of primary school age. Simply pick up a sticker sheet and choose which stickers you would like, then every week you come to church, see us for the next sticker, and when you’ve collected 10, you win a prize. Simple!

As always, we love seeing you at church, so please do bring friends and family – and keep checking our Facebook page and Website for details of other activities and sessions we run through the week. We’re not just open on Sundays!

All Age Service in church

Messy FIG – Church Hall

Multimedia Service – In church , suitable for 13+

One Sunday a month, it is Breakfast Special in the hall from 9.15am. Craft activities are provided and then the short, informal all age service starts at 10.20am. See the ‘Regular Services’ menu for the forthcoming dates

In Church….

There is a seating area in Church to the right of the main door as you walk in which has a box of quiet toys and is where most families with young children prefer to sit as it has quick access to the toilets (with baby change facilities). We also have a room which is behind the congregation. This is an area which you can take babies and children to play, calm down or feed, if you feel they are getting too upset in the service. You won’t miss anything as we have a screen which plays the service live and you are welcome to join the congregation again anytime you wish. Please ask when you get to Church where these areas are and we will be pleased to assist you.
